Dr Matthias Terlau is a partner in GÖRG's Cologne office. He advises on banking and payment law issues. His core competencies include banking and payment regulation, general banking law, outsourcing agreements, licensing procedures, and legal issues relating to credit cards, including card schemes. He advises companies in the financial services industry, including FinTech companies, as well as customers and distributors. Dr. Matthias Terlau speaks English and French. As co-editor, he is involved in the publication of the "Kommentars zum Zahlungsdiensteaufsichtsgesetz" and as co-author, inter alia, of the " Bankrechtshandbuch". He is a speaker at numerous industry conferences on questions of banking and payment regulation.
