Dr Anika Patz advises on questions in the area of banking and capital markets law. Her focus lies on regulatory requirements for financial instruments, banks, financial institutions and service providers, trading venues and fund initiators. She also advises FinTechs and consults on questions related to Blockchain, DLT, Crypto Custody and STOs.
Anika studied in Berlin and worked as a research assistant at the Humboldt University and at the EWeRK Institute for Energy and Competition Law. As part of the legal traineeship, she worked in the Federal Ministry of Finance on issues regarding securities markets and in Brussels for the European Commission – DG FISMA on issues related to the regulation of European and non-European trading venues.
